Miele Cx1 Blizzard Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner

Powerful, efficient, quiet and easy to use.

Really powerful, easy to use (and easy to empty), nice and quiet - couldn't ask for more. Also has some great features for storage (e.g. the included crevice nozzle and upholstery brush click into the body of the vacuum, and the main tube connects to the body for storage in both the upright and sideways positions).

Our version came with two large heads - the EcoTeq head (for normal use on carpets, hard floors, etc.) and the TurboTeq head (to remove deep dust and hair from carpets). The TurboTeq head is great at picking up hair and dust, although it does get a bit clogged up with hair and has to be periodically cleaned. One downside it that it would be nice if the head was easier to dismantle for cleaning (it requires you to pop out the wheels - much easier said than done - and unscrew a number of screws). However, we've managed to clean it without dismantling the head - it just takes some time and has to be done fairly regularly if using the head.

Miele CX1 Blizzard Cat and Dog Vacuum Cleaner

Have used Dyson vacuum cleaners for many years but l am glad l changed to Miele. Very powerful when needed but with the option of 4 power settings.
