Excellent bit of kit, precisely set up out of the box and very smooth cuts with no tearing of the wood at any angle. Buy cheaper and you will buy twice. I know this with my Evolution Stealth that has now given up after a few months of decking board laying and rough cuts with worn brushes. I have yet to see if this machine lasts the test of time but initial feel is so much better than when I unboxed the cheaper brand. Worthwhile investment if you don’t mind a heavier bit of kit that cuts larger pieces of wood. It fits nicely on a Black and Decker Workmate and I love the smooth action and accurate guide LED light and extending support boards. There was some slight paint damage repair carried out on one of the legs but this did not detract from its performance. This was either a shop second or damaged in storage but to be honest the mechanics of this saw are perfect if you don’t mind some minor cosmetic issues you might receive. This might explain the cheaper price. On the whole an excellent saw and worth the money and if you want a nice neat smooth straight cut at the correct angle don’t look any further. The cable storage is another nice feature and all adjustment controls feel secure and smooth. I love it and if it keeps doing what it says on the advert I will be using Metabo for my other purchases.Read full review
