The product is good value for money. it was easy to put together as I'm using it as a sound bar rather than the 2 separate towers. There is an issue with music to speech. As the speech is at a lower level than music and special effects noise. So sometimes we have to grab the remote and turn down quick rather than wake the granddaughter/neighbours. All in all not bad. Maxell Split soundbar

I have this set up in the speaker configuration. I purchased this item to try to improve on the sound from my TV speakers. Many TV programs have background music even when people are speaking and I tend to hear only the music while the speech sounds muffled.
Using the soundbar, in general, the whole sound experience is much improved and I can pick up speech much better than with just the TV speakers. There are 3 equaliser settings. These are, Flat, Music and Movie. To be honest, I can not hear much difference between them and tend to leave it set on Flat.
Volume control is in discrete steps and sometimes it is difficult to get exactly the right volume. I may be too picky!
Bluetooth connection is easy to achieve and I enjoy connecting my phone to listen to my music.
One annoying thing, if the TV is turned off for a short time, the unit goes into standby. Obviously done for ecologically sound reasons, but irritating!
For the price, I have been pleased with this soundbar, but I may think about another one with more manual controls, at a later time.Read full review...

Budget price for budget sound

I was looking forward to received this soundbar, but very disappointed once I sent it up and listened to it. Firstly the AUX lead did not work at all, but the bluetooth worked, so I managed to get sound through that. But it did not sync at all with the voice on tv, always half a second behind which is really annoying. The design is good though. The was cheap for the soundbar, but as the saying goes, you get what you paid for.

The sound is tinny no matter what sound function you use, I couldn't recommend this product, I would advise spending over £65 minimum to get a better quality product.Read full review...
