Small cost. Big relief.

In the middle of a job on way back from suppliers and gear lever went all limp. Stuck in third I managed to get back to the site. Cut a long story short, I found the Matlock system. Arrived in reasonable time. Fitted the clip and Havant looked back. Works great. These should be fitted as standard. I would fit one even if the gear cable wasn’t popping off just for peace of mind. Please note: this is only suitable for cable ends that are well worn to prevent them popping off. They are not suitable for newly fitted or good fitted cable ends, but this is not mentioned in the advert. I bought mine to put on a newly fitted cable to make sure it didn’t happen again but instructions say not to fit to newly fitted cables.Read full review
