THIS BIKE CABLE LOCK APPEARS TO BE OF GOOD QUALITY AND THE CABLE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT CAPEABLE OF DOING WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED FOR BUT THE LOCK MECHANISM WHERE ONE END OF THE CABLE FITS INTO THE TUMBLER OF THE OTHER END OF THE CABLE IS PLASTIC.....THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE LOCK AND IT IS MY OPINION THAT THEY COULD HAVE MADE THAT PIECE OUT OF METAL.
