Can't get a rainbow without a little rain
For the price this soldering kit is an absolute bargain ....but...and its a BIG BUT....
Be mindful of the holder - it's not the most sturdy and the soldering iron could easily topple over and the maginifier and stand with dog-clips is about as useful as a pregnancy tester for a bloke.... apart from that...all good - does what its supposed to for a bargain price.Read full review

Quality. You get what you paid for. Stand is very flimsy, it can easily topple over, causing a fire hazard or injury. Don't expect to get accurate result with this, the tip gets too hot as no control over the temperature. It is function, does what its supposed to do but if you ever want to solder more than once a month or more frequently, I would recommend purchasing a better quality soldering kit. However for the price, be prepared. It does come with 'starter' soldering and delivery was fast.

Solid and good value, BUT!!
The plug that comes on the soldering iron is a sealed plug that does NOT contain a fuse, so has potential safety issues if something goes wrong with it.
I replaced the plug with a proper Uk certified one and works great.
Otherwise a solid bit of kit and good value if only needing an iron and accessories to do soldering once in a blue moon, once replaced the dodgy plug.Read full review

Very handy little soldering ironies
It has a very small tip which let's you do fine work with no hassle.The only thing perhaps that would have helped to have had a heat thermostat control

Ok could be better
Plus-its a reasonable price, ok for basic work where you don't need top accuracy.
Minus-base far to light to hold iron, silly little draw, bit wobbles in the iron, struggles with solding anything more than 1.5mm wires together.

A functional iron but I would not reccomend it for model makers etc.
The product works well but too large and cumbersome for small soldering jobs such as repairs on model railway locomotives.
From a safety point of view, the stand for the iron is not very stable and the exposed metal part of the body, if not careful, can cause burns to hands.Read full review
