Marantz CD-4000 CD Player

Lovely sounding; easy to use; recommended.

I'm a long time Marantz fan and bought this one as a stop gap between higher quality players. It's surprisingly good for a cheaper unit ~ hardly noticed the difference.

Left cd player to warm up for 24hrs, put cd In draw pushed play and was immediately impressed with a clean well defined sound quite punchey and well defined clean top with a slightly layed back midrange but still clear well positioned instruments I love it.
