I was recommended by a friend who uses maplins a great deal. I was worried about using this item because I had spent a lot of money on my sewing machine, I real shouldn't have worried, the converter was exactly what it was looking for, it is sturdy, and yet small enough not to get in the way, the casing is very well made and everything on it is clear, making use easy, beats other products. Hello! I received Monday 02 April a.c. Maplin 230V To 110V 300W Voltage Converter UK Mains Plug To USA Transformer. Unfortunately, because of poor packaging (the product came out of the original carton that opened), I received the product with the UK 3-pin power plug broken into small pieces and a portion of the case where the power cord runs and I can not even get it. Unfortunately, in Romania, the 3-pin plug is not even used. So ... I'm disappointed!
