Very powerful fan
Very powerful 4" fan. Fitted loads of these in the past, can be tricky to fit in a confined space.
Note: wiring terminals are very close to cable retainer, bracket straps are hinged on opposite sides so clearance needed to open fully.
Recommend using acoustic flexible ducting if fan is located near inlet grille.
Three Speeds altered by location of link, not very clear picture of link positions on instructions as very poor quality printing.
Ideal mounted in a loft on long ducting runs.Read full review

Bought this fan to replace a cheaper product (different brand) which had suffered premature bearing failure and was shaking itself to bits, making excessive noise and finally failing to run every time. Although this fan is of the same overall design as the old one it’s immediately obvious that the build quality is much better. Installed it quickly and easily and once again have quiet and effective extraction. Only time will tell the long term reliability but I’m pretty confident that this product is better than any cheaper alternatives.Read full review

Good product
Have only just installed the fan and used it once so far but it certainly did the job well on full speed using 100mm round then into rectangular ducting, (a total length of about 3m of ducting) and certainly not noisy at the high speed setting. A bit time consuming to set a 10 minute run-on time delay but apart from that hopefully it will continue to work satisfactory for quite some time. Good value for money, well pleased.Read full review

Have just installed this as a replacement for an existing smaller in-line fan. Easy to install, runs very quietly on max speed. Not sure how long it will last, but the 5 yr guarantee is encouraging. When fitting I'd ercommend wiring it up temporarily with a mains plug and switch, and setting the timer control BEFORE you install.Read full review

Can't go wrong for the price

Great product and performance
It’s so quiet and you can really feel the air being extracted. By far the best fan I’ve ever used in a bathroom. Easy to change fan speed and duration of time it’s on. I'd installed a smaller typical bathroom inline extractor and wasn't satisfied with the extract/suction. So after a little research I came across this fan. The size difference was shocking, it was about 3 times the size. I have installed these Manrose fans for the last four years , in those four years I have only had to replace one fan due to a fault but it was replaced with no problem being within the warranty .
