Great product, crappy box.
Great quality product. But, the box it came in made it look like it was bought at a flea market. As this was bought as a gift, I had to repackage the items in a nicer box to present it. The product itself is great, well made and good value. The book is perfect for a novice, easy to follow and has many great, not too difficult, recipes.Read full review

Plenty for your money but flawed design
It is beautifully presented and you get a great deal in the box. It makes an attractive gift etc. However if you are likely to be a big user of it- rather than just have fun at the occasional party- I have an issue. As soon as you have plenty of ice in it and cool the metal down, the lid is so tight it is very difficult to get off. Bearing in mind the shaker is wet with condensation and the shaker is full of cocktail- this makes life tricky and I ended up with the odd guest wearing some cocktail as they wrestled the lid off and it come away suddenly. I have replaced the shaker part with a vintage one and kept all the rest to make a new set! Cocktails anyone?Read full review

Manhattan CocktailShaker set
This is a great cocktail shaker set. I have already used it extensively and produces excellent results. You only need four ice-cubes when preparing cocktails. As soon as you start shaking the shaker with all the ingredients, the metal on the shaker frosts almost immediately. Highly recommend trying the cocktails in the book provided with the set. However, I suggest to be adventurous and try some slight changes to suit your personal taste. Only reservation is not having a 35 cl measure, since quite a few of the cocktails I try include measures of either 35cl or 70 cl.Read full review
