Chain is substantial and well covered to minimise damage as its put through the motorcycle, its feels heavy and strong. The lock is less effective and has been replaced with an armoured shutter lock. The Chain is robust (and heavy!) and would be difficult to cut. However, the separate padlock, though appearing robust would not outsmart too many thieves and is quite lightweight in comparison

Excellent lock and chain

I bought this for my Kawasaki ZZR1100. It is sturdy and great value for money. It's also very long. I can chain my bikes together and not worry about someone trying to steal them. It's also god to be able to fit it under the seat and take it with me.
