A good substitute for Makita OEM Li-ion batteries
Very good finish, appear to have been made carefully, they fit current Makita cordless tools beautifully, also fit older models without the need for removing the 'tab' from the base of the battery holder. In this mode the battery is secure but is free to move, it is a bit concerting but there is plenty of contact 'wipe', this has allowed me to continue to using my older but serviceable Makita, Drill, saw, and impact driver.Read full review

Not a genuine Makita product
These 4aH batteries do not perform as well as my genuine Makita 3aH batteries and don't fit into some of my genuine Makita tools. They are very good copies but have lots of tiny differences especially the power output. They are a bit cheaper but in my opinion you'd be better of going to a real GENUINE Makita stockists and buying the REAL thing.Read full review

Great power and charge indicator
Purchased after son given one of my old 3Ah batteries.
Great to have charge level, powers well over the time of my old battery, less changing and charging. Able to do more before having to stop. Make sure your drill has a star under where the battery fits. Not too heavy.Read full review

makita batteries
these are more robust and reliable than the generics, and so far safer [we had a generic battery explode and catch fire in the kitchen] as i havn`t had any problems with makita goods.

A 6 amp hour battery weights a fair bit.
I have paid near £ 90 for a Makita original and so far no performance difference only time will tell

Not the advised amperage.
Brought these purely for my site radio, thinking 4 amp hours in a radio would last about 18/20 hours, but no ! they only last for about 7/8 hours, which is the equivalent of a 1.5 amp battery ( see Makita dab runtime spec) how do they get away with it !? glad I’m not relying on them in a power tool Read full review

Not worth it
Purchased this 18v makita replica battery, didn’t last any longer than a actual 3ah original makita battery and after 3months wouldn’t charge with no heavy usage.
Asked to be resolved, but just got ignored.
Buy a original battery worth it in the long run Read full review
