I have owned lots of dab radios before and as far as clarity of reception this tops them all. The battery life easily goes for 8 hours which is all I need. It is very simple to use as it has no gimmicky features on it. Only downside is that mp3 player is a simply skip to next track and there are no options to scroll between tracks. Get this if you like a clear dab and for good measure put an audiobook on mp3 section. I have used mp3 section once and while its simple to use it is just too basic. Build quality is great too. Mediocre Radio & Player

Controls are easy and display excellent but the reception wasn't as good as my previous pocket DAB & MP3 player. The MP3 player is very basic, it just picks up the tracks and plays them 1 by 1. No way to move between directories so you can't select and play an album.

Great for motorbikes!

Great quality unit with a good long battery - well exceeded 8 hours.

Radio reception is ok, it depends entirely on the lead you plug in and the routing of that.

MP3 player is a great addition, especially when touring abroad, but with only a skip forward or back by one track button, you either start at the beginning of the tracks every time you turn it on, or furiously hammer the track skip button to start somewhere else.

Big buttons that can be used with gloves on.

Proper off/on switch.

Clear readable screen, even in bright daylight.

Nice flat back for attaching Velcro.

Neat little unit

Can be a bit of a pain getting it to pick up local DAB Stations when you go out of your normal reception area but it eventually gets there. Very easy to use and charge. Good clear sound and very long battery life. Ideal for what i wanted. Very clear screen. Great if you want to listen to the radio or your own music. Light and small enough to keep in my handbag

I found it easy to tune in to Radio4 and Radio4 Extra (the only radio stations which I use regularly) and was impressed by the clarity of sound. However I was surprised by how soon the battery went flat but maybe I didn't fully charge it initially. (I'm still learning). I had difficulty scanning DAB channels, but maybe that is just me. FM reception is great, clear and strong, as is sound quality.
