Inexpensive Side Puller conversion.
These are a very cost effective way to convert pole top kits to ones with a side puller facility. I'd recommend that they are only fitted to the reinforced band found on pole kits, and that great care is taken when drilling the 7mm hole required. I inserted a thick piece of garden cane into my sections before drilling and used progressively larger drill bits before the final stage of drilling, by hand, with a Dremel style bit. Once the hole is large enough the MAP Side Puller should be inserted where it then clicks into place . A little glue such as clear general purpose adhesive is the required to secure it in place. I found that the "click" into place alone isn't secure enough to hold the thing in place.
So at around £5 a pair these are a good buy. Read full review

Great simple product
These puller bushes are so easy to fit, just cut 7mm hole and push in. They work fantastic very smooth, I would defiantly recommend from now on these are the only ones I shall use.

Excellent MAP quality
Have just used the puller bushes on all my 6 MAP top twos, should have done it sooner. So much more control over big fighting fish. One suggestion, drill a 3mm hole first then use the 7mm drill. I also put a piece of wooden dowel down the inside to protect the other side of the top Read full review

MAP Side Puller
Good well made product. Very easy to fit once pole section strengthened with a carbon fibre wrap. Would recommend using a 6.5 mm drill rather than the 7mm suggested . The hole can then be smoothed with sandpaper and still give a good tight fit for the bush.Read full review

Map side puller bush
Very simple to fit once correct size hole has been drilled. Smooth simple action and no rolllers to wear away. Apply some pole slip to elastic and its perfect. Great for price and comes with fitting instructions. I won;t use anything else now.
