Lightweight trailer cable
Used for wiring my 5ft x 4ft trailer of which it was perfect for the job, although this was based on the fact that all my electrical components , ie indicators, stop lights, rear side lights, and rear number plate light are of L.E.D. composition! and as such only use a fraction of the amperage that a normal filament system would use! Hence the title "LIGHTWEIGHT! cable"

Good value for money.
Item arrived on time and was well packaged. It appeared to be a little underrated, current wise, at first because the overall diameter seemed a bit small. However, having stripped back the insulation I could see that there was adequate copper there.

Trailer Cable
I did not do my sums correctly. the core size required should have been 1.5 to 1.75 mm2.
so although the cable is good, I cannot use it as i could make a fire.
Thanks anyway

Ideal for wiring other than Trailers
I bought this lightweight 7 core 11amp cable for a workshop job.
I use a VFD (Variable Frequency Device) to convert single phase 230v Household Electricity to 230v Three Phase Electricity.
<br>This system is used to power 3 different machines, they all have to be connected totally separate from each other, so I use 3 different Pendant Control Boxes.
These are wired with 7 wires for controlling On/Off, Forward/Reverse, Fixed Slow and Variable Speed Control.
I have come to prefer this slightly thicker wired cable, to the previous supplied thin less flexible cable.
I've also incorporated a 7 pin plug/socket system, to facilitate the changing supply to each machine.
All in all I'm very pleased with this cable, so can recommend its use for other setups.Read full review

Amp rating
Cable appears quite thin and light/flexible
11 amps should be enough for a trailer board which would consist of stop/brakes and indicators being used.
