This is just a great midi controller keyboard, easy to use, no nonsense, super responsive and all I had to do was just plug it into my iMAC and it just started working with Logic X even though I know you're supposed to use this with Ableton. Great Hardware Poor Software

The keyboard itself is great for the money and is easy to set up in Ableton Lite, FruityLoops. Stick to ASIO drivers though.
Ableton Lite works ok although it fails to recognize any of the VST's in my folder, even when directed in the plug-in set-up.
The VST Piano and Synth software that comes with the package is a disaster. It doesn't install correctly, the Licence Manager software is infuriating and also doesn't work correctly despite loading latest software from site. Throw the software in the BIN!
I can imagine for someone who is new to this music making environment they would totally give up. Why can't these software guys make it easier for people?
The keyboard itself is the only positive.

This USB mother keyboard is a well made unit as with all M-Audio equipment.
The actual keys although velocity sensitive do not feel very piano like, a bit spongy.
