This fan and light controller works great! It was easy to install and has dual controls for adjusting fan speed and light dimming. It also has a built-in night light for easily finding the switch. Very happy with this device. Our previous fan and light controller was a dual mechanical switch and the light switch portion had failed. A nice fan / light controller

I really like how the Lutron dimmers look and work overall
The new led version is not a nice as it’s predecessor - but the former model does not work for led lights

The new design requires additional or special wiring when converting from a light only to the light with fan The old one used existing wiring - a really nice feature

It also has now a somewhat noisy relay to control the fan at the switch

That being said i prefer this over other products available and Ihave bought 6 so far and plan to buy a couple more

Good on/off/dimming for fans with LED... just not as tactile as a toggle switch

Pretty much the only wall switch option for dimming lights on modern fans with integrated LED lighting. Honestly, I wish there was a toggle switch-based version similar to their light-only dimmer and incandescent dimmers. There are some options with just two slides, but this is the only one I found with on/off function.

Of course most modern fans rely on remotes. Why? My house is wired for fans. Better to have a wall switch than a remote that can get lost or broken.

Anyway, I installed this with an AC motor fan with LED light kit that I had cut out and bypassed the remote control module. It works great. There are some advanced functions, like fade on or fade off, that you can set if you'd like (search Lutron Application Note #669). It's just not as tactile as a toggle switch. Read full review

Excellent design and function

I had the light only dimmer version of this same switch in another room and I loved that one so when I wanted to upgrade my fan/light in a bedroom I knew exactly the switch I wanted.

The switch design looks great in the bedroom that it is in and the little green indicators aren’t too bright that they cause annoyance when I try to sleep. (Found out they can be turned off all together in the factory settings which is very cool to know)

My only negative was that installation took a bit longer than I would have hoped but I’m not an electrician so take that for what it is worth.Read full review

Neat looking switch

I love Lutron switches I got these to replace the other Lutron fan & light dimmer switch in my home because the old switches knobs broke off, as well as the metal post that hold the plastic knob in place. These are a much better design. I just wish I could have found the almond color but I can live with the white switch in an almond three gang plate. Read full review
