Used this to retrieve photos from old m2 micro cards (dead sony phones!), easy to use, even on an old laptop without internet, as I wasn't sure if it works properly, the software loaded quickly, and photos imported to laptop automatically. Highly recommended!Read full review

Terrible product, do not buy
I bought this product because I needed an adapter for my CF card for my camera. I received it and quickly realise the wire to connect it to your computer didn't go into the adapter all the way. I thought nothing of it and waited until I needed to use it. Then I tried to place my CF card inside. I placed it in, but it only went a few millimetres in. I checked that I had it the right way and tried again. This time with a little more force. It started to go in and then it just stopped. It would wiggle from side to side so it clearly wasn't all the way in. I connected it to my computer and realised that you had to angle the wire that would go in fully at the right angle for it to even light up. Then nothing popped up on my computer. I tried and tried to get the CF card in to no end. When I looked at the pins inside the adapter, not only are they all different lengths but here are some missing. This is such a terrible product and is not worth the time and money. Never again.
Edit: just turned the product around and one of the pins literally fell out.Read full review

Compact and light. Tried it with different types of memory cards, worked well and transfers data quickly. On the down side, it would be a good idea to put the type of card over or adjacent to the allocated slot. Not sure about the longevity as not had it long.Read full review

Enables me to transfer photos and data easily and quickly
I have many old desktop computers and laptops dating back many years. My modern laptops do not have slots for older types of memory cards. This memory card reader is brilliant as it allows me to easily transfer data from old pc's, etc. to my newer laptop just by using the USB ports. Just this one memory card reader enables me get at data that I thought lost to me - photos and documents. Also able to get photos off old digital camera and transfer to my laptop and then on to save in 'the cloud'. Speed depends on the data and the individual card - but it works on all the ones I have tried.

Slightly Misleading
Works fine, But some listed cards don't work out of the box. It only has a Memory Stick slot, And so my MS Pro Duo card (which is listed as compatible) will not fit without an adapter.

Great for transferring DSLR camera card photos to computer
For many years I had used another memory card reader with great success, but recently it became unable to read or even identify cards inserted into it. I turned to ebay and Lupo Store to provide me with a replacement. This memory card reader has an old style mini usb at one end for connecting into the card reader and a normal USB connector on the other end, for insertion into an available port on a computer. I inserted the previously unreadable memory card into the reader and it instantly started working. Speed is quite good and I had no corruption issues with the files transferred. I'm very pleased with the purchase and will certainly make a note of Lupo Store in the future.Read full review

excellent, dirt cheap versatile reader - both on Linux and Windows
I have an ancient Nikon Coolpix 775 camera, which uses the chunky big CF (compact flash) memory card. Normal cameras have mostly dropped this format (even though certain professional DSLRs still use CF cards because of some advantages). As this format is not commonly used by the average punter (I am an average punter), card readers you can get easily nowadays don't offer a slot to read CF cards.
So, I had and ancient CF card, and I was desperate to see what's on it (I am actually searching for some long lost photos), and I needed a reader that could still cope with a CF card.
That is when I found this excellent little reader. It was amazingly cheap: £4.50 (16 May 2022), and it was offered to be sent by free post, but there was also an option of paying an extra 50p for next day delivery. I paid the extra 50p (peanuts), and the whole thing cost me only £5.00 - and the reader arrived the next morning. I plugged it in, and it worked right away, and I could transfer the stuff off the card to my PC. I have even decided to resurrect my ancient camera just for the fun of it - this reader gave it a new life, because now I won't have any problem reading the files off the CF card (the camera doesn't take any other kind of memory card). Total bliss.
I tried the reader with the ubiquitous SD and microSD cards as well (there are separate slots for them). It worked perfectly. There are slots for several other kinds of cards too (the seller's page lists them).
Minor nice point: the reader has a pilot light to show that there is "access", i.e. it is connected to the computer (it is up to you to "unmount" or "mount" it in the file manager, of course).
I use the Ubuntu Linux operating system, but I tried it out on Windows too. It works on both without any problem.
Totally excellent little gadget and at a nearly give-away price.

Proper price for something that make the work as it should be.
The reason i bought this was to check some old cards in my desk and didnt want to buy something that would cost me a ton didnt know if any of the cards still works. It came lightweight and brand new with proper packing. Inside was Card Reader All in One and 1 usb cable to power/connect it up. Quickly installed and started working straight away.
