This Lucas battery was exactly the right height as main dealer recommend ( be careful cheaper alternatives are fractionally taller and can foul covers under the bonnet).

Disappointing for lots of reasons

Th Battery arrived without any terminal covers as in the photo or any labelling to confirm the battery model or amperage .
I was concerned at the lack of labelling as I have classic cars with both 6v and 12v batteries plus a variety of types.. I contacted the supplier as it's condition made me wonder if it was secondhand..but was assured it was new
The battery fits the MG well but the amperage 40 is a bit low . I considered returning it but the postage made it not cost effective so that I have elected to keep it .

Saved us lots of £££

Wife's car battery was completely flat after furlough / lockdown.
This battery was great value, came well protected, & charged too.
Fit, dimensions, and polarity are all standard.
Easy to replace with a few tools and a quick internet search.
Saved us lots of £££ instead of dropping the car off at the garage.
All good so far, no problems (it's been a few weeks)
