Ergonomic mice may be better but try for size ++before you buy.
The MX Vertical Mouse is intended for people with larger than average hands while the newer Logitech Lift mouse iis intended for people with small to medium sized hands. The MX vertical mouse is an older design with a built in re-chargeable battery (USB-C style port).and is far more comfortable than the Lift. That said, the MX Vertical mouse still requires that the user has her wrist slightly higher than the desktop which, for me at least, still gave me some wrist pain, less pain than with the Lift. The Lift required that I keep my wrist considerably higher off the desktop than the MX Vertical so the MX Vertical mouse as definitely better for me.
Since your hands may not have been in the range intended with either mouse, I strongly advise that you try out a vertical mouse to determine if it works for you, favoring the MX mouse if your (right hand only) is a bit larger than many of your friends.

Very good quality product
Well designed for a comfortable held. Accurate movements, flexibility of wired or wireless and rechargeable battery. They all add up to a very good quality product. Pretty expensive for a mouse, but I think worth the money for someone who has muscle pain from extensively using a regular mouse.Read full review

Thank You
Got the product as on time as stated on order. New, in original packaging, Thank you lolas-msg
Takes a few days to get used to the new style of holding a mouse.
It takes great strain off the wrist. Works different muscle groups in the arm and shoulder.
Let's hope it works out in the long run. Read full review

Good enough for me.
This is hard to get used to using. I have advanced neuropathy in two fingers of my right hand, and they're numb.
Using this mouse is reducing the numbness i'm experiencing, but I'm clumsy with it. There is a definite learning curve with it.
My solution is to have my old mouse next to this onefor the times that I'm in a hurry.Read full review

Improved Comfort from Vertical MX
The intent was to ease up on hand discomfort and that has happened. Not a miracle cure, but the mouse makes a big difference to me. I miss the free-wheeling on the wheel on this version. On my older Logitech non-vertical MX, the wheel could be switched to and from free-wheel. Logitech needs to get that in next version. I recommend.Read full review

I love this unit! It answers all my needs.
Since I installed this unit, it seems to fit all of my needs. At work, I am using its counterpart-which is over priced & does not compare to this unit. I will ask my boss if I can return it for credit &!get the vertical at work also.Read full review

Many really great things about this mous...
Many really great things about this mouse and one that is not so great....I find the thumb position a bit difficult for me but that is most likely due to bad arthritis in that joint due to injury. LOVE the back bar for thumb but wish it was a bit lower....Read full review

Works nicely
Works nicely. Minor point: the "back" and "forth" buttons are a little tricky to press, without generating a left mouse click. Also, it's a good idea to use your middle finger rather then pointer finger to turn the wheel, which takes some getting used to. On the other hand, I had basically tennis elbow from using a typical mouse, and after a week or 2, the pain is reduced.Read full review

Durable, beautifully designed. None are better.
The best vertical mouse for me. I had an Anker which quit in less than a year. The Logitech is built like a tank. If it fits your hand - it's a bit larger than some vertical mice on the market - go for it. Rechargeable beats batteries any day. It's worth the extra money to me.Read full review

Pretty darn good.
Takes some getting used to, but it's generally a much better way to use a mouse. I wish the scroll wheel would "scroll freely" without "clicking." Also, it looks a little goofy on the desk. But hey, anything to avoid mouse-hand fatigue. So yeah, overall, it's a better experience.Read full review
