The Linx 820 is a big improvement over it's predecessors (the 8 and 810) - not only is the screen far more responsive and less "sticky", battery life has also been improved and having dual band AC wireless makes a huge difference in day to day use. You'll also notice the device gets less hit than before as the updated processor didn't have to work quite so hard.

Nice screen but poor user interface and battery storage

The unit has an excellent display screen with a standard Windows 10 graphical user interface which seems to work correctly. The audio works well.

After a full charge the battery appears to discharge after shutting down using the standard Windows 10 power off button. I found that the unit has to be connected to its charger in order to be able to switch on.

- I found the Windows 10 user interface very difficult to use with the touch screen. Many of the screen icons in Windows Explorer are minute (2mm x 2mm) on this screen.Read full review

Brilliant

I have to say that I nearly returned this tablet as I was expecting it to be running Windows 10 Mobile. I need it for a specific purpose so it does mean that I will have to purchase another tablet.>
However, after looking at it properly and especially for the price, this is an outstanding 8" tablet. It runs Windows 10 Home and it runs it very well. Dual band wifi is installed and works really well. The screen is brilliant, very clear with great definition and colour. Windows itself is as normal and works very well, although everything is a little small. Maybe I need new glasses??

My only small criticism is that it only has a micro USB port, but with an OTG lead, it is usable.

Poor battery life, low storage not good enough for windows updates

Affordable windows tablet at cheap price for a reason! the tablet has 32gb storage and for latest windows updates this is not enough! i struggled to get the latest updates and had to delete just about everything on the tablet! after the updates i was left with just 12gb even after uninstalling the old windows! the battery life on these are poor but the screen quality is good until you update windows! latest updates caused my screen to go funny and the rotate option was affected! sent my tablet back within days!Read full review
