Great value

Although a refurbished product, it showed virtually no marks of use or any scratches. The display is clear and the detachable keyboard turns it into a pretty good representation of a laptop. The 64Gb drive is good for a tablet and avoids the problems of upgrading with large Windows updates. The PC is listed as having 2 USB ports, one full size, the other a micro USB: the latter is also used as the charging port (a minor improvement would have been a separate charging input). The keyboard is nearly a full QWERTY one but lacks an obvious "insert" button (or I have not found it yet!). A minor drawback is the lack of a "CAPS LOCK" indicator although a reminder is sometimes shown on screen, however two audible tones can be set to indicate the status. The keyboard has an extra key for Copy, Paste etc. The camera image is rather grainy (it is only 2 Mb front and back) and it requires good lighting. Screen sensitivity is good and it also reacts well with active styli. Battery life is good at some 5 hours. The touch pad is easy to use although the right-click function does not work for some features (e.g. on icons). The touch pad also doubles as a mouse in terms of left and right click functions. The touch pad also supports gestures.
Overall, very good value and well worth buying. Recommended.

Has a mind of its own!

Where do I start.... Set up was fine but my first problem was with the charger as it doesn't stay in the tablet if you happen to move so I had to go and buy a charger that would stay in.
Whilst using the keyboard and touch pad it randomly shows all the programmes you are running or different windows within a programme which makes you stop everything you are doing until you find the programme screen you were looking at.
Word auto saves the file with the document number so if you name it you end up with two copies, one with your fie name and another with "document 11" for eg. The only way around this is to upgrade Word for £5.99 a month! Also if you want to change the orientation of a page you are unable to do so until you have upgraded. This version of word is designed that you feel the need to upgrade to have all the available functions.
Using the touch screen to close or minimise a programme the screen recognises you are tapping it but doesn't actually do anything. I've tried using a stylus to do this for more precision and still nothing.
For some reason it disconnects from the internet, whist using the internet. There is no problem with the internet as other devices and family members don't have the same issues at the same time that it happens with this device.

So if you want something that causes more problems that good then this is the device for you!

Capable little mini laptop, perfect for couch surfing.

it's never going to be a heavyweight contender, but for normal web browsing, Netflix watching and light office duties it's surprisingly capable.

Keyboard feels nice to use, soft touch keys and not too thick. Attaches with a reassuring clunk as the magnets grab hols and stays put.

Tablet itself feels sturdy enough. not thin, but not bulky.

Touchscreen isn't the most responsive, but it's ok.

Excellent. Tablet

I'm sick and tired of paying hundreds and hundreds of pounds for tablets that after a couple of years stop getting updates and become vulnerable to security threats. I have this running as a tablet with a mini Bluetooth keyboard, a 3rd of the price.. always updates and lots of security products on the market I'm happyRead full review
