Works effectively

I put on 3 coats on my wooden stairs. It was very effective in that it has added a film of grittiness to the surface making it quite non slip. I don't know what's in the coating; could be sand. Does not change the colour of the wood. Really worth while using on slippery surfaces.Read full review

Long lasting safety

First used this on some slippery slate steps descending 50 feet to a rocky stream, covered with tree debris. Three year on, providing the debris is swept away, the steps still retain good grip, but I may re-coat them this summer.Read full review
