Not Bad, but One Glaring Problem

For what it is, it's fine. It doesn't read actual pressure, like their weather station but it's not supposed to.
The only REAL problem I have is that the backlight HAS to be on (high/low/off) or you can not see anything. On battery power, you have to tap the top bar, for the light to come on, for - 10 seconds, on A/C you can have it on (low/high) all the time, but that just means it'll dim and fail that much faster.

When it comes to refurbished things....

I've had good and bad experiences with buying certain things used. When I bought this weather station it came packaged neatly and included everything needed to operate it. I recommend reading how to set it up before becoming upset as it is technical. You'll get the hang of it. Connection between the sensor and unit is great; I have the sensor pretty far away and still get 5 bars. The interface is professional for a small USA company like La Crosse. The readings are accurate and the alerts are great for a controlled environment. Overall, I'm glad that this refurbished product successfully worked like new! Time and Temp Always In View

This is the 3rd La Crosse Technology product I have purchased over the past ten years. I have 2 projector clocks with temp in 2 bedrooms. I can look up at the ceiling and see a subtle projected view of time and temp while in bed.
This Wireless Weather Station was easy to set up and is in our kitchen and visible from far away. We us it to tell when to open or close the windows in our house. We live in California where the temps range from 25 to 110. I believe during the summer and winter we save money by knowing when to keep the heat or cooling stable in the house. I believe the accuracy is within plus or minutes one degree. The radio controlled atomic clock always gives us the exact time and automatically adjust the daylight savings time. humid days cause trouble

Everything has been very good except that on very humid days, the signal from the outside unit has trouble getting to the inside base. on sunny days though everything is great

GREAT FOR THE FARM

I have a farm and need to know the weather immediately for crops and animals. It's totally accurate and I like the display very much.

Good for monitoring temp and humidity but weather displayed can be faulty.

The weather displayed on the screen (sunny, cloudy, rainy etc.) is not necessarily the weather outside, probably due to the fact that there is no barometer function and it calculates based on the temp and humidity.Read full review

If you are looking for a weather station, this one is excellent. There is a slight learning curve as far as setup goes. Not bad though
It requires batteries but it also plug in. The batteries are incase of power interrupts.
It is very accurate. It has a barometer, that is animation. There is no numbers. The animation is accurate.
The inside and outside Temps and humidity are well view and accurate as well.
All are easily viewed and separated by color.
