A great product to keep doggy teeth in good condition
I've been cleaning my dog's teeth with Logic Gel toothpaste for several years, and although my dog tries to vanish when it's time to have his daily teeth clean up, he lets me do it without any trouble.
I don't use the finger toothbrush, it's too big for his little mouth and it's probably the best way to get your finger bitten by mistake. Instead I use a child size toothbrush which he's quite OK about. After cleaning, I let him lick a tiny bit of Logic gel off my little finger as a treat.
I always rub the paste into the bristles before brushing his teeth. That way it gets to all the teeth and doesn't get licked off. The vet says I should put a video on YouTube. But how do you hold a dog's mouth, a brush and a video camera? Easier said than done!Read full review

HEALTH HAZARD DATA
Potassium thiocyanate is a skin and eye irritant and is toxic when ingested. Eye contact will cause redness and pain. Skin contact will cause localised irritation. Ingestion will cause headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness and faintness.
TREATMENTS
Skin - immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash the affected area with soap or mild detergent and large amounts of water until all evidence of the chemical has been removed (approximately 15 minutes). Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Eyes - immediately wash the affected eye with large amounts of water until all evidence of the chemical has been removed (approximately 15 minutes). If irritation or pain persist seek medical attention.
Inhalation - remove from the area of exposure to fresh air. If breathing has ceased apply artificial respiration. Keep warm and allow to rest. If irritation persists or develops seek medical attention.
Ingestion wash out the mouth thoroughly with water and give water to drink. Seek immediate medical attention.
INCOMPATIBILITY
Decomposes when exposed to light. Reacts violently with oxidising agents.
HANDLING
Use a fume hood to minimise exposure to this substance. Wear protective clothing. A long sleeved laboratory coat or gown, rubber gloves, safety goggles and a face mask as a minimum standard.

Easy to use product
Does what it says as far as i can tell, an enzyme preparation that melts the tartar on cat & dog teeth, saves emotional visits to the vet for teeth cieaning in my opinion, with regular use will save on vet bills as well, it is economical in use and easy to apply just about half an inch per day on a paw will do the trick, they love the attractive taste.Read full review

Logic Dog Toothpaste
Has been used on my dog since she arrived via the Dogs Trust aged approx. 12 months. Her teeth are cleaned every other day. She absolutely loves the taste and happily lets me use my finger to apply it.
Her Vet always comments on the cleanliness of her teeth, and she is now approx. six years old. I have never been tempted to use an alternative because of A: Its efficacy and B: She likes it!

Best toothpaste I've ever found
I prefer this brand of dog toothpaste over any other I've ever come across. The consistency is good and our pets enjoy the taste. Well worth giving it a try.
It seems that there isn't much smell, which is good as my dog is very suspicious of anything he's not use to and that is the same with taste. Or it could also be that he actually likes the taste. I've been using Logic Gel for my dogs for years.....they lick it off my finger, it is palatable and easy to use, even cats like it, just dab it on a paw and they will lick it off. Logic oral hygiene gel for cats
I bought this when I noticed my older cat's were developing bad breath. My mum had recently taken her cat's to the vet to have their teeth cleaned and was recommended to use this in-between visits, it was keeping their teeth clean and their breath fresh and they love it, so she recommended it for my cat's. They don't like the brush that comes with it so I just use my finger to rub it on their teeth they are still getting used to it but it seems to be working. Better than other gel
I have used this gel before and my boy will take it with a bit of encouragement, i.e. on a meat stick or off my finger with a covering of Lick-e- Lix to disguise it a bit. He will not easily take Beaphar tooth gel which is a lot cheaper. It seems to work, but it is difficult to judge as my lad has a long history of mouth and other problems so he will never be quite right (even a full dental clean has had only limited improvement).Read full review

Best we've ever used on all our dogs.
I don't often take time to write reviews but on this occasion I feel this product is worthy of a few minutes of my time. As a dedicated, lifelong and devoted dog lover, I would always try to keep on top of our dogs' oral health and of course wanted the best for them all. I have tried many different pet toothpastes and products over the years and have found Logic Oral Hygiene Gel to be the best. Yes it may be slightly more expensive than some others but the results are more than worth it and only a very small amount of the product is needed to maintain good oral health. Our dogs also liked the flavour and while I mostly used a dog toothbrush, the finger brush included with the gel is very useful too. Used regularly, none of our latest 4 dogs ever developed any dental issues and this gel really did keep plaque at bay. During regular check ups, a number of different veterinarians within the practice we use would all remark on how healthy our dogs' teeth were, particularly given the age of some of the older ones.
