OLED 4K HDR

Best TV at this time. Remote is the easiest I've ever used. I still have the old Pioneer Elite Plasma TV and this TV is far more superior. The built in apps: Netflix, Amazon, You Tube and etc...makes the Oled TV very convenient. I have been watching 4K programming from Netflix, Amazon and You Tube. I also have the LG 3D Blu-ray player hooked up to the LG Oled TV and picture is amazing. The 3D works great but you have to be directly in front for it for optimal viewing. The HDR I feel did not make a significant difference in viewing pleasure but I feel that may be a matter of preference for some. I heard the Rio Olympics will be broadcast in 4k now only if LG will come up with a 4k Blue Ray 3d Player that allows to us to record in 4k and store via built in hard drive so as to record anything in TV, That will be great. No buyer remorse here, just a happy customer.Read full review

believe the hype, and also one of the last best 3D tvs EVER!

Believe the hype. OLED is the way to go if you want great black levels, and crisp 4K HDR that isn't too bright and just right. I returned a Samsung KS800 65" and used that money for the 55" LG C6P and honestly yes I did loose that wow factor in terms of picture size but I gained so much more that the Samsung wasn't giving me.

For one if your into 3D, this is the best. It still gets me mad that manufacturers have already taken this feature out but Hollywood continues to release its movies in 3D. I understand it's not for everyone but here the 3D in 4K upscaled is near perfect cinema quality. I did not notice any crosstalk, and can't believe a 3D tv could be this good.

There is one big detail that some reviewers leave out and that's image bleeding once an image stays on the screen for a good amount of time. Beware this could be a problem similar to Plasmas but some of it does go away within minutes.

The TV OS system is better then Samsung's, easy and fun to use. The brightness level for me is perfect and I haven't done gaming here and I do here my previous TV (KS8000) would have been ideal for gaming, I'm sure I'll still be impressed as my XBOX ONE is ready for 4K HDR on this TV.

Look spending this much money you need a honest review, especially if your buying online. Take your time to find the best deal and go see this thing in person. Keep in mind it won't be as bright as Samsung TV's, or realistic as SONY but it is a great 3D TV, with amazing blacks that make the colors and details pop.

A 55" will do honestly if your sitting 9ft away.

I rate the TV a 9.5 (only con is the image bleeding onscreen and wether or not that'll be a issue in the future)

4K is the real deal

The LG OLED55C6P4is the perfect TV: picture quality, tuner, wireless network, HD upscaling, remote voice mouse and 3D quality makes this the complete package. I am also using it as my computer monitor. It makes for a complete video display. I found using a wireless mouse with it speeds up using the multitude of setup choices.
Would I buy it again? definitely!

Nice TV with 3D

Bought this TV because newest models no longer support 3D. TV arrived in great condition, and the picture is great, however don't know that it that much greater than old Samsung LCD it replaced which also had great picture (better than LED's), but was having issues after 9 years. The 3D has been fun, but not many studios are supporting 3D with new releases either, so somewhat limited in choices of 3D entertainment.Read full review

Best 3D I've ever seen, and excellent picture quality

Most 3D theaters have poor black levels, making darker scenes harder to make out, as well as washing out the colors, but this TV has perfect black levels, which makes the 3D pop so much more, and makes dark scenes easy to see.

The HDR isn't quite as bright as top end LED sets, but it still works rather well, especially in Dolby Vision mode.

The colors are very natural when you use the Expert Dark Room mode, and turn the OLED light down a bit. Don't use modes like "standard", "vivid", or "bright", as those are overly saturated, overly bright, and incorrect color temperature as well.

I needed a better 3DTV, and this seemed like quite possibly the last opportunity to upgrade to a TV that does 3D and 4K at the same time, and does both very impressively. OLED TVs are the best quality TV technology out there. I do think HDR is slightly more impressive on brighter LED TVs like the Sony 930d and Z9D, so if HDR is your most important focus, I'd go with that, but those TVs also don't have perfect black levels, especially in HDR mode, so if better black levels is more important to you than better dynamic range, go with an OLED.

If you need 3D like I did, go with this C6 model, because the newer 2017 models don't include it, and the 3D on the Sony 930d is broken.

One of the best 4K TVs you could possibly get

The LG C6P is probably one of the more affordable and best 2016 OLEDs you could possibly get.
The black level is astonishing, as well as the contrast levels and the HDR performance is out of this world. I tested this TV with Underworld 4K, and OLED was made for movies like this.
I chose the C6P over the B6P for a few reasons, the main reason was for the 3D which I have to say is amazing. It's a shame LG decided to discontinue 3D in their 2017 TVs as I feel with 4K and passive 3D would have shown people just how awesome it could be.
Another was because the C6P has better motion handling over the B6P, and has less judder issues. The C6P was also curved, and while I didn't exactly care if I had a curved TV or not, it's hardly noticeable however it does look very nice in my room when it's off.

Now, compared to the E6P or the G6P I would say they will be the same with the G6P having a much better handle on motion and better picture processors.
Compared to the new C7P, it has better handling on motion as well as picture processing, but it also supports more HDR formats as well as being slightly brighter.
The Sony A1E, which I would have went with if I had the money isn't as bright as the LG but has a feature I wish LG would have done. Sony has the Gradient Smoothing feature, which pretty much eliminates color banding. I've noticed a few scenes here and there that suffer from minor color banding in dark scenes. Nothing that most people wouldn't notice, but it's worth mentioning.
I'm sure after I have someone calibrate the TV, it would be virtually unnoticeable.

Honestly, if you can't live with out 3D this would be the TV to get and I would hurry before they become harder to get and then you'll be paying more for it in the long run.
If you can live without it, then I would still recommend going with some form of an OLED. The picture quality out preformed pretty much every LED, and the only one that comes close to beating it is the Sony Z9D.
The Sony Z9D is LED but the local dimming is amazing, and with a very wide color gamut it does give you a very awesome HDR picture. Color banding is also not an issue because this TV can produce a lot of colors, however it comes at a premium price, one I'm not sure many would want to pay. This is the only TV that can go neck and neck with an OLED, and even then most reviewers I've seen went with an OLED over the Z9D.

You get what you pay for

This TV is everything I expected and more. Great picture and it has all the bells and whistles of a smart TV. The HDR is amazing with the color palette, but it must be calibrated properly. It took some time time figure out how to get things to my specifications, but it was well worth the effort. The 3D also was a very welcome addition. I never bought into the 3rd fad when they pushed it out years ago and I am glad I didn't. I always research everything I purchase and wait for the value to equal the product. With the money you spend and the top notch picture, numerous options on the smart TV side and throw in the high quality 3D and you won't be disappointed in this TV. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!Read full review

OLED TV

The curved design gives this OLED TV a sleek and modern appearance, it also allows for multiple viewing angles. The picture has the same crisp details and bright colors from any seat in the room, so now you never have to worry about whether you will be able to clearly see the picture.
You can enjoy crystal clear details and realistic colors thanks to the deep black background. Not only does this provide plenty of contrast, it helps make the colors brighter and more vivid. To add to your viewing experience it comes with impressive audio capabilities so shows can sound just as great as they look on the OLED screen.
You will love seeing what you can watch with the smart TV capabilities. Simply follow the setup instruction and connect the TV to the web. Enjoy countless movies, shows, games and more, simply by pressing a button on the included remote.

Excellent design and features

I think that the C6 may be the best OLED bargain out there right now. It gives the best picture I have seen on any TV. People have been writing reviews suggesting curved TVs offer no advantages, which works well if you want to buy a C6 because it seems to have driven prices down. But curved screens really do deflect most of the glare and they give your eye a more direct viewing angle at the screen edges, as well as a nicer picture at small angles from direct center. 3D and curved are two features that are going away in the 2017 models, and what they are replacing those features with seems unimpressive. The 3D is especially good in the C6 in my opinion. Also, the 2d to 3d feature seems to work better with curved (you can make 2D images look slightly 3D if you want). The 2017 models will be all flat and have no 3D (which is excellent on these models) and a slight improvement in color accuracy is a poor replacement for these losses in my view, even with 25% brighter highlights. So, I recommend getting one of these C6 models while they exist. My one complaint is that I did discover there was a slight area of screen imperfection in the unit I received. If you hold a bright flashlight to a certain spot in the screen you can just make out what looks like a couple of small abrasion marks. But you can't see them when the TV is on or when it is off unless you directly shine a flashlight at the specific spot, so it's still definitely a five star product. Open box entails a small risk, but you can return it if you want.Read full review

Fantastic TV Image

The TV is all that one would ask for. Ultimate color, quality, easy to use. It has it ALL.

The remote takes some getting used to, but it's OK, just wish the keys were backlit!

Third LG that I've owner, and they've all been exceptional, but this the BEST.

Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed. This set even makes over-the-air images POP.
