This TV arrived extremely well packaged. There is not a mark, scratch or scuff, on it. It is easy to attach the feet to and easy to set up. The fact that there this is a connection for a satellite hook up is an added bonus. I however am using a android TV box. The picture and sound quality of this LG, a company that I highly respect due to it`s superior products, is superb. Due to the 4k up scaling feature even older films look absolutely fantastic. This TV is a pleasure to watch films on. Any one that purchases this TV will not be disappointed. The only downside to this purchase is that due to it being refurbished there were no wall mounting screws included. However I will purchase the correct type as recommened in the tech specs sheet that came with the product. An exceptionally superb product.Read full review

as good as any uhd tv. bought this because it not only has Netflix (which is everywhere) but it also has amazon in the apps much more difficult to find in any tv. since I am a prime member it mattered much to me. size is about right which should be a diagonal size equal to 1/4 the distance to the viewing position from the screen. more or less.Read full review

good but not great

Replaced my old LG as i wanted a smart tv
Set up out of the box was easy and using my current wall bracket was just as easy but one main complaint the power cord on my old set twice as long as the one on this so meant i had to use an extension to wall mount it.
I also would liked the hdmi, usb etc inputs to be side mounted as this would be so much easier with a wall mounted tv.

Fantastic ultra HD TV

Have had this TV for a while now. I got it for a bargain from ao with free delivery. The picture is fantastic from all angles. The Wi-Fi connectivity makes it easy to get all your internet tv requirements without the boxes to go with it!! It's light despite the slightly deeper back on the tv. I have mine up on the wall, which was easy to fix with a standard bracket, but I will say due to it nor being the slimiest of tv's it sits about 6" away from the wall... I don't think that's much of an issue in my large living room but it might bother some people!! However it didn't cost thousands either?? I love it and would recommend it to anyone who looking for a quality ultra HD TV.....Read full review

What's not to like?

Admittedly I've come from a very old 29" Samsung but I have to say that this LG set is everything I'd hoped for and more even though I haven't got a good enough broadband download speed to take full advantage of 4k.

For just over £400, I think it's excellent value for money for a 49" screen and while it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that more expensive TVs boast, I reckon most people will be more than happy with the picture quality and even the sound (one area it's been criticised for). Unless you live in a (very) detached house, you won't be able to exploit the volume it gives you without seriously upsetting the neighbors. Hi-fi freaks will find it a bit tinny no doubt but a sound bar would sort it if you really are unhappy (I'm not).

For non-techies I found it was easy to set up and basically I just love it. I definitely recommend it.Read full review
