It's Ok but...

At less than $25 it's a good value for the price but it's not as good as my old LG...seems to be more cheaply constructed, the battery only holds a charge for about 4 days (despite little use) and the "0" on the numeric pad is very hard to depress. The outer flat 'matte' finish is very slippery, and the finish combined with it's light weight (like a feather) makes the phone easy to drop and hard to open. Pros are the camera and internet access, which my old phone didn't have. Overall, a good purchase if you want/need a TracFone. Read full review

I am glad i could still find this phone and this value. Very appreciative of doubled minutes. Love that one page of text only costs. .03 minutes. This is my favorite of the tracfones I've had. It does have a long battery life, it's small in size and has very good reception. What I didn't care for is what I had to pay for it. I paid $34.99 and when it came it had a price of $19.99 on the package. Knew it was going to cost more because it's no longer being made, but it's a very good flip phone. Had a LG440G I liked a lot, but it started having problems recharging. So bought a different brand, supposedly good, but it really sucked. Then found this NIB LG440G. Well worth the cost. Great flip phone for seniors.......

This phone is really a good flip phone. It is just the right size and weight to hold and not drop. It has a clear sound and loud enough to hear someone speaking to you. The battery life is great.....don't have to keep on the charger every few hours. It goes about two or three days without charging it for me. much better display, more features compared to the LG231

The LG440 has a real clear display and lot of features it don't have a removable SD card as some advertisements suggest, but it will record video for 49 min from its built in SD card. and displays the video time on the screen as you record. It's not a smart phone and if you are using tracfone and activate this one in place of it you will loose all your min. as I did when I activated it in place of my smart phone. but its a much better phone without all the junk that comes with a smart phone.Read full review
