Does the job!
This is my third Krups burr grinder. I use it once a week to grind coffee for my espresso machine. It grinds the beans to a professional standard instead of chopping them to oblivion like the blade grinders. I wouldn't recommend using it to grind spices as I ruined one by doing this.A good value reliable machine.Read full review

Good grinder, but no good if you just want one cup.
This is certainly a good grinder, with a good range of effective settings as regards the coarseness of the grind. However - be aware - the minimum amount of coffee you can grind is for two cups - so if you just want to grind enough coffee for one cup, then you will be wasting coffee - unless you leave the ground beans in the container until the next brew - which is not what you are supposed to do. This is a fundamental flaw in the design.Read full review

Good grinder
This is a decent coffee grinder with a small footprint - it takes up very little counter space. The grind is very fine and even with the grind adjustment at the midway setting it produces coffee with a fairly powdery texture which I imagine would be suitable for espresso. My only complaint is that the coffee receptacle is prone to static and the grinds tend to stick to the container somewhat. I've no doubt this problem afflicts other coffee grinders.

I bought this one as a gift. I have my own which is now about three years old. For the money these are about the best grinders you can get, with a good range of grind sizes and the ability to grind a small quantity for a couple of cups, or enough to make coffee for a several people. It is fitted with an internal switch which prevents operation if you have not assembled and fitted the ground coffee container, thus preventing spills.Read full review
