This Burr coffee grinder is just what I needed, easy to use, easy to clean and grinds beans to whichever grind I want, 17 to pick from! It also measures right amount of coffee for between 2 to 12 cups. It's a good size quite compact so stands next to my coffee machine without taking up too much room, and the colour fits in perfect with machine.Read full review

Easy to use but inconsistent grind.
This grinder appears to be well constructed and is very straightforward to use. From reviews I had high expectations. I have an espresso machine at home so set it to 4 on the 17 scale for grind fineness. It was so fine the machines pressure gauge when straight to 16 bar and the machine cut out! I am now on 9 on a scale of 17 and that has worked OK the last couple of times. As I only make espresso based drinks I will keep it but anyone wanting to experiment with different grinds for different brewing methods may find the range not as good as expected. From my brief experience the bottom half of the grind range is too fine for practical use. Read full review

Works well and easy to use. Wide range of grind settings for different types of coffee makers. Better flavour from freshly ground beans and buying beans cheaper in long run than buying ground coffee so if you drink a lot of coffee you will recoup outlay. Wish I'd bought one sooner.Read full review

Burr coffee grinder
This is an excellent product which I highly recommend. Bought to replace my old M&S blade grinder which I dropped and damaged.... I am pleased I did as the consistency of the burr grind has resulted in so very much more flavour bring released (as well as more economical use of beans) that I could be drinking a newly discovered beverage ....it makes that much difference to the flavour. A nice looking small, neat and well designed piece of kit that's a delight to use.

No more hit-and-miss coffee.
I had started roasting beans but was still using a simple twin blade electric mill for grinding. The size of powder was a bit hit-and-miss so I upgraded to the Krupps burr grinder. I am just a raw amateur who likes coffee, but to me the difference is amazing; whether I want a fine espresso or a coarser cafetiere grind, I can experiment with the settings and really taste the difference.
The only downside is that I am buzzing from the extra coffee I am now drinking. I wish I had bought one years ago.

OK but instructions are vague
Bought this to supplement a recent artisan coffee subscription to be able to get a perfect grind for my coffee machine.
It works, after a half dozen attempts to get the grind right as the book of words is typically vague when it comes to actual use.
The automatic function is a nice touch but is set to cup measures. A barista measure would be useful but that's just being picky
Would I buy one again if this packed up? Probably. At full price it's way better value for money than most and there's usually someone selling at a discount.
If you're one of these people who keep their kitchen utensils on display as conversation pieces for your similarly ostentatious friends to gush over this isn't for you.

There are a couple of things - it is a bit noisy but as it isn't on for long that's ok. The course grind (best for cafetieres) is not quite as course as I'd hoped.
