Compact and easy to use scanner for home use.

It scans very quickly and the scan is high quality. The colour correction function is too basic though. As with all slide scanners, and I’ve used a few different models, the initial scan needs editing. Invariably the colours are distorted - especially with old slides- and need correcting in an editing programme, such as photoshop. Also, the manual, single slide feeding method is fine for a relatively small number of slides, or a selection from a larger lot, but it is unsuited for bulk scanning. Very easy to set up but colours can be a problem. Sometimes too blue sometimes too yellow at random

The Kodak slide scanner works very well.

I've been wanting one of these for years and I wasn't disappointed. It is easy to operate and downloads the pictures to my laptop My only gripe is I wish I had a better camera when I was taking slides as mine are not very good. Good value and simple to use.

I have tried two other slide scanners in the past without much success and found the Kodak
scanner to be a lot superior.
It has been well thought out and it is very simple to use.
I have transferred approximately 650 slides to date and am still going.
If I was to name any faults I would say the viewing screen could be bigger however I am now used to it so no great problem there.
Also maybe a better dust brush could be supplied. The one that come with the machine doesn't quite do the job.
Over all I am very pleased with this product and think it is money well spent.Read full review
