Excellent Lightweight Sander

This is an excellent lightweight belt sander that is easy to to lift about and is ideal for a garage type workshop where when not needed it's easily stored away but i'm sure this would suit a professional cabinet maker. I connected the dust outlet to an ash vacuum easily [no need for an expensive dust collector] which in turn collects the sand dust without any problems and keeps your workshop clean. Changing the sanding belt could not be easier, just pull the lever, remove the belt and replace with a different grade or new belt then re-tension the belt by re-setting the lever to it's closed position. It is important to have the machine unplugged from the power supply when doing this and once the replacement sanding belt is fitted you must turn the belt by hand to ensure the new belt is tracked correctly. Tracking the belt is simple, just turn the thumbscrew either way until the belt runs centrally. I can recommend this belt sander to anyone and know you will not be disappointed.Read full review

Brilliant piece of kit for money

From opening the box, to putting the attachments on, to trying it out I was impressed all the way. The machine has bags of power. Easy to fix attachments and they are all square to the belt and disc faces!! The whole machine is solid and doesn’t move around,also very quiet. I’ve never written a review for anything before but felt I had to say something about this brilliant bit of kit

Great way to sand small pieces

Generally well made and quiet. My only criticism would be of the angle guide, which has too much play in it for sanding at accurate angles such as required for framing. However a relatively simple modification has solved this.
Also the markings on the gauge are not very accurate and need to be checked with a protractor.Read full review

The sander arrived with a standard three pin UK plug and the belt and sanding disk was already attached. I only had to bolt on the sanding plate and a guide an it was all ready.
