Engine stops working if machine is shaken

I found this vacuum cleaner odd. And definitely not built to "industrial" standards.

Shaking the cleaner, using it over rough terrain or hitting it accidentally against a corner of a piece of furniture stops the engine from aspiring.

Good hoover but has its problems

Ok where to start, right well positive points first:

1. Very good suction
2. Lightweight
3. Large capacity
4. Long power lead

Now the negative points:

1. To light weight so much so the hoover falls over all the time ( could do with some weight in the bottom)
2. Hoover head has only the one choice either brush or brush ( could do with option of clicking brush away) needless to say i quickly bought a new brush head which helped with suction as no loss of suction when brush is clicked away :)
3. Very noisy

Haven't tried sucking up water yet so can't say anything on that but the blower function is brilliant, quickly cleared the garden of the leaves no problem at all.

Overall a good hoover with good suction but could do with some weight in the bottom and a different brush head that has option of brush or not.Read full review

Decent vacuum cleaner

Overall: The Klarstein IVC-30 vacuum is OK. I'm happy with it because it does what I want it to in my workshop, but wouldn't recommend as a household vacuum.

Positive: easy to empty, nice big bag-less drum that I can attach to portable power tools without worrying about split bags/overfilling etc., the hose fits my Makita plunge saw without any special attachments - great!

Negative: It's very loud - use it in my workshop, so tend to keep my hearing protection on when using it. Suction decreases noticeably as it fills up, very top heavy so unless it's 1/4 full (meaning less suction) it's pretty unsteady and likely to fall over when dragged by hose, far less powerful than I'd expect given the 1800W motor rating - feels on a par with a Henry, attachments feel cheaply made.Read full review
