I love this KitchenAid hand mixer because it's light weight, easy to operate and easy to clean.
I bake and cook daily so this is so helpful and time saving allowing me to use my stand mixer

Love the little red 5 speed!!
The Kitchenaid 5 speed hand mixer runs nice and smooth. I love the 5 speeds! I used to have the Kitchenaid 3 speed and it beat so hard, even on the lowest speed, that it was hard to blend dry ingredients without it slinging flour. Hand mixer woes
I received the hand mixer and was delighted. I had difficulty inserting one of the beaters and still doesn't work . For the price I expected it to be easy to used all parts work like they should.

This hand-held mixer is no more or less than what it purports to be ---a small mixer for whipping cream or mixing cake batter or other foods that are already softened by coming to room temperature, have added liquid, and so on. I would not use for trying to knead bread or whipping
potatoes (unless the potatoes were pre-mashed and had added milk or cream) . But for the right foods, this mixer is fast and convenient. You don't need a PhD to operate it; At the highest speeds you have to keep it under control, as with any hand-held (another reason not to inflict it on hard foods) But it works wonderfully. Within 2 minutes of opening the box I had a full bowl of sweetened whipped cream. Feels very sturdy in the hand. Compact, but not cheap-feeling.Read full review

Love the weight
I have a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. I have had it for about 40 years. It still works great, however, it is very heavy and I needed something much easier to handle. This hand mixer is great.
I only have one thing that was hard to figure out. The beaters are different to put in. After I figured it out it is fine but,
at first I didn't understand why it was made that way. That is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I have another hand mixer that is old, not a Kitchen Aid and the beaters just push in. I love the red color.Read full review
