This is exactly what I was looking for!! My Kitchenaid mixer is almost 40 years old and it still runs like it was brand new. So when one of my children wanted to upgrade from a handheld mixer I suggested investing in a Kitchenaid. I bought this as their Christmas present and know it will serve them well for many years to come. Wasn’t really looking for the Artisan line of mixers, which have a little bit smaller footprint on the countertop. The Deluxe line is older and they are work horses! It can handle dough for 3 loaves of bread, double batches of cookie dough and large batches of cake batter and icing. Similar, though smaller

This model is still new to me, but is easy to use and pretty intuitive, especially since I had a much larger one before. I have no idea how well it will hold up, but my old one put in 15 years or so of hard labor. My expectation is that it will last me as long as I need such a device. Baking work horse!

This was purchased as a Christmas present for someone special. This lady bakes so she can sell the cakes, etc. to make extra money. She was homeless with 2 kids but with hard work she now has a full time job and bakes. She turned her life around so this is one way that I think I can help her.
