Excellent little gizmo for making stripy cup cake toppers!
I'd been asked to make some cupcakes for my brother-in-law , he'll be 60 tomorrow and is an avid Liverpool FC fan. I wanted to make some stripy toppers out of fondant icing but knew that if I use used a knife and a ruler the stripes would be all over the place. Having watched a couple of You Tube tutorials where this little gadget was being used, also to make stripes, I thought I'd give it a go.
Hey presto it works a treat, all the stripes are straight and even - great stuff! Oh Birthday boy is going to be so impressed!!

Disappointing. No advantage over chopping with a knife
It seems well made and is easy to clean, but in my experience it tends to crush rather than slice. It is particularly bad if your herbs are wet from washing, when it quickly gums up and produces a pulpy goo. Works better with dry herbs but even so I will stick to chopping with a knife in future.Read full review
