Waste of money

DONT buy this so called fly zapping bat, it DEFINITELY does NOT do what the description says,for example on contact with fly it doesn't shock or zapp the fly, Also the bat doesn't even trap the fly in or onto the mesh. Have previously had another bat that dealt immediately with flys that did zapp them to the fact the fly would sizzle an stick to previous bat i had ,This one on this site is no purpose whatsoever as the electric current does not work on direct contact with any fly or insect. reason being is the mesh is protected coating not to give electric shock. Not effective against small fruit flies. Needs higher voltage electrodes.

It has no effect on fruit flies which sre too small to be "zapped" by the electrodes. Perbaps the induced voltage potential is too low - compared to the mains voltage mode!s available elsewhere.
