I have owned a Kenwood Tri Blade for many years and it has been brilliant. With recent changes to life I wanted to get back into making my own bread, next problem, flour. I could only get hold of plain flour and this needs a lot of kneading, my current mixer doesn't have kneading capacity so I decided to spoil myself and upgrade to this super mixer. I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife, to replace her fifty-ish year old Kenwood, which we bought second hand shortly after we were married, on which the bearings are now noisy. It seems to be constructed in the same way as the old one, but fits into our kitchen colour scheme better. I will have the old one refurbished and we will take it to our house in France, to replace the one I bought for there, which is not Kenwood and which is not as good, by a long way, I don't know why, it looks very similar, but the cakes my wife makes here have always been better than those she has made in France. Since the ingredients are the same, having been travelled from England, I think it can only be the mixing machine and I am sure that the old Kenwood still has many more years of service in it..Read full review
