Great Quality
In Sydney looking at viewers. Wanted 3x viewing and good back light. Found nothing in Australia. Read reviews of this LED version and seemed ok.
It is well built and feels very solid (plastic case is hard and does not flex), takes 4 x AA batteries and can be powered by a plug in power source. Power socket clearly marked with the voltage, milliamperage and the polarity of the plug needed (DC 6V 500mA negative centre pin), so easy to take to any shop to buy a generic power source.
One review I read mentioned slides jamming. I didn't find this and maybe the reviewer pressed the button to allow the slide to drop through into the catcher too quickly. I press it gently so the internal catch stays open until the slide has dropped all the way through.
Very nice to use and has a bright even back light. When using on a table it stands firmly and does not move around.
Postage quick and FREE, got email updates and could tracking. Arrived well wrapped and packaged in a bubble wrap sleeve in it's own box, which was then packed into an outer cardboard box surrounded by polystyrene packing peanuts/pieces.Read full review
