Disappointing in use

Although it looks a good design best used on a table we are disappointed that the slide often gets stuck and won't easily eject. The cardboard mounts are the worst so we have been replacing those with plastic. However it often happens that pressing the eject button is not sufficient and we have to either pull it out from the bottom or push it through with the next slide. This all makes a long job longer. The other thing Is that the glass is dusty on the inside. I wiped the outside with screen wipes several times before I realised the dust was not moving. I did a lot of research beforehand and thought this was the best for the job, but we are disappointed.Read full review

Nice looking Viewer I thing the guide rails for the slides are slightly out of line.

Product arrived on time, well packaged, the viewer was well made,a nice looking item. The downside four out of ten slides jammed, and had to be manually released with a plastic ruler.

Quality control issues

Dust trapped inside viewing lense should have been cleaned out before assembly as it affects the clear viewing of the slides. It does not eject cardboard framed slides (the majority) well and they stick in the outgoing channel which means you have to tilt the unit forward ( and sometimes tap it) to create enough slope for them to fall out.Read full review

Excellent slide viewer.

I found this viewer after a lot of research and so far have been very pleased with the product. Magnification is very good at 3x ,illumination is superb with the LED light. I haven’t experienced the problem with slides jamming as reported by other buyers, I think the trick is to hold the button in until the slide has dropped.
