I bought this product a few weeks ago never used a hair stripper before,i am a natural red head and dyed my hair but the colour came out a horrid dark plum,i read all the reviews and bought this product,i was very nervous about using it,so i snipped a piece of hair and did a strand test first,in a plastic lid waited 15 mins and had a look it worked,so i did my whole head followed the instructions to the leaflet,wow it took all the dye right out back to my natural colour it was fantastic i left my hair to dry naturally and two days later did my normal shampoo and hair conditioner,I wont be dyeing my hair for a while,it didnt smell too bad either and didnt burn my scalp,but i would recommend doing a strand test first otherwise for me i am very very happy it saved my hair Read full review...

Doesn't work to remove colour shampoo !
So the booklet explains that it only removes semi permanent or permanent colour ! Not if your colour has henna in it ( or some other high fashion colour like red purple etc ! ) maybe that should be put in description ! I'd used a red shampoo in my blonde hair over Christmas ( which had part wash out and gone pink ) was hoping this worked to remove the rest but made no difference ! Read full review...

kinda works
Used this hair color remover for a first time after i watched youtube videos reviews,so basacly it removes hair color just you have to use 3 -4 times atleast to remove dark brown color from your hair and in the end hair looks like light carrot orange color :D and if You rinse hair just 5-6 minutes they will smell horrible, You really really have to rinse Your hair at least 10-12 mins EACH time and then they wont smell,and also dried out my hair ends really bad,,, like after U have used bleach... so kinda worked for me but now need to buy lot of good treatments to fix my hair ends wich is superdry and looks bad, but for girls who have long hair they can cut off like 5cm of dryed ends and then its all good :)

I've been using box dyes for years and only by looking at my roots did I know what my natural colour was. I used this to remove the build up of dyes and hopefully remove the semi permanent purple streaks I had. It did remove all the build up of dyes, leaving me with undamaged virgin hair, it was great, it didn't do anything to my purple streaks but I wasn't fussed. Wouldn't advise it to anyone
I ordered this product after reading very good reviews about lifting colour out of your hair whether it be permanent or semi permanent but it did nothing to my hair, I just wasted 60 minutes of unpleasant smelling solution on my hair and 20 minutes of rinsing only to dry my hair and be exactly the same colour it hadn't lightened one bit. Great product, does exactly what it says!
I've tried Color B4 before and it didn't work as well as this one did. Although the smell is horrible and makes the whole house stink for 2 days and takes a while to wash out even with fragranced shampoos, it really does remove color and doesn't dry out the hair too much. My hair dye didn't come out even with bleach as the pigments were incredibly strong, I had to leave this treatment on for around 3 hours but it did wonders. Highly recommend for anyone who desperately wants to get rid of their current artificial hair color.
