I have been making my own battery packs for my RC airplanes for quite some time, and recently I purchased the Fujitsu NiMH LSD batteries to see how they compare to the cells I have been using. Let me say right away that there is no comparison. I cycled the cells several times and each time the performance of the cells increased. I have been using them now for several months and I'll never go back to standard NiMH cells again.

These cells are new technology (LSD) and hold a charge like nothing else I have used. The LSD stands for Low Self Discharge and unlike standard cells do not discharge much while not in use ( unlike standard cells ). The best thing about them is that they are more stable and reliable than Lipo packs. The maker claims that they will maintain about 85% of their charge if left unused for a year. all tested 2470 to 2620!!!!

I used a lacrosse bc 700 battery charger/refresher/tester to test these as soon as i got them.

my 4 pack tested at: 2470mah, 2570, 2610 and 2620mah!!!

the charger drains and recharges the batteries over and over until no more mah is gained. usually it is 2 to 3 cycles until this is complete. takes a week, but lets you know where you batteries truly rate. (charges at 200mah per hour) and discharges at 100mah per hour, slowest settings for best results)

these test higher then amazon basics and cost less and come with a case!!!
