I've recently been inspired to cook more, and after watching Jamie Oliver's show and also liking Italian food, I wanted to try out cooking more authentic Italian food for myself and my family. This book was exceptional value for money, and the recipes are so easy to follow, really looking forward to putting some fabulous Italian food on the table. To many recipes that are not family friendly in respect to ingredients time and preperation. Alot of the ingredients in some of the recepies are not available in your local supermarket.

Via the telly: he taught me how to cook: simply with good ingredients. The book is about fundamental Italian cooking from the heart of the country. Proper, simplistic, inexpensive and delicious - not like you find in UK restaurants. I even made my own "royal" pasta, for pence, using a bread board, fork and rolling pin.
