Unusual design, purchased for pairing with another set of speakers using 3.5mm jack splitter. Not the best sound in the world, the little satellites struggle a bit, woofer has fairly decent bass and looks like a helmet from Starwars .

Quality sound

I first came across this type of JBL speakers a few years ago when they were the sole musical source at an art exhibition. Loads of bass & distinct notes.
So 2 years ago I bought a set for our dining room to
provide very good quality 'dinner party' music.
