JB-Weld Kwik works well, but it is not as good as the slow cure, per JB Weld support
What some people may not know is that the JB Kwik weld does not get as hard, or hold as good as the standard JB Weld. This is ok, that it what making it quick does to it. I had a long conversation with JB Weld support to learn this. The slow cure JB Weld will make a stronger bond, so if you can wait a day or two, or three, regular JB Weld is what you want. I use the JB quick to hold parts in place, an hold plastic cases closed. For that it works well. if you want to remove it way after it gets hard, it can be scraped and poked to get it off. Don't try that with regular JB Weld though, it gets much harder over time. This is about knowing how to use each product so you use the right one. Also, pay close attention to the ratio of 1:1, getting too much, or little of either will alter something. Too little hardener will slow down the cure, but in a big way, too much will speed it up in a bad way. So get it right for the best results.Read full review

Big-box store product at a better price
Superb quality - the exact same product you'll find in your hardware store for several dollars more. Delivered to your door, that's hard to beat :) I love the 5-minute JB Weld, it's about 80 percent the strength of regular JB Weld but sets up in minutes and is workable in 4-6 hours. If you don't require the full strength product but need faster bond times this stuff can't be beat. I'm using it to bond copper, steel and aluminum to each other and for my purposes (mostly low-stress) it's just as good as the heavy duty stuff. I drill, sand/shape and paint this stuff just like the metals that I'm bonding with it.Read full review

Excellent Product
Used this stuff to patch a rusted out iron railing. Worked great so I used the rest of it to refasten a grating that was pulling away from the frame of a pasture gate - has held up well. Also used to patch a wheel barrow shaft. Fills in/glues together any metal. A little goes a long way.Read full review

This stuff is amazing!
This is the third "glue" I tried and this one really worked. I can think of a lot of other projects it will be great for. I was bonding two pieces of painted metal together and nothing seemed to do it. It is a little messy and dark grey but makes a very strong bond!Read full review

Many uses. You should keep a set on hand.
I was first introduced to JB Weld in Automechanics' Class in the late 70s. It's become a staple ever-since. As strong as steel, much better than duct tape! This set very fast, and cures in 6 hours.

VERY HANDY!
This stuff works great, and sets pretty quickly. My only complaint is that it produces a blooming, and lingering stench, until it has cured. Mix, and apply outdoors!

Good Temp. fix
Good product for quick fix's, by no means should it be used as a permanent repair. This seller is cheaper than any local store and with free s&h!

J-B weld is one of the most versatile epoxies in my tool box.
I'm a long time user of J-B products. The versatility of it is why this is my frequent use.
