I did not like the hand held type and knew this would be simple to use and it is, but..... out of the last eighteen holes I played on five or six of the holes it had advanced to four holes ahead of the hole I was playing. When I made the adjustment to the hole I was on, the yardage was usually spot on. This was a wide open Texas golf course and really no reason the unit kept losing where it was. That said, it is what it is and for the price, I will keep using it and make the manual adjustments as needed. When on the correct hole/location, it gave the same yardage as the Bushnell my parner was using. So for the price, I am happy with it.Read full review

Surprised how many features this golf rangefinder has built into a small package
I needed to replace a broken Garmin golf G5 GPS rangefinder I bought for over $200 15 years ago and I wanted a GPR rangefinder at a reasonable price. One of my golfing buddies had this Swami and he could tell us yardage all around the course we played. The battery lasts for over 13 hours and could also tell yardage to clear obstacles around the greens. It's very small, easy to use and has a built in magnet to attach to a golf cart.Read full review

Great Little GPS
I bought this on an Ebay Auction. Nobody bid against me so I got a significant discount over the regular price. It was brand new in the box. I have not used all the features just the GPS and it work great. If I could change anything I would make the magnet stronger. It has not fallen off my cart even hitting bumps but just for piece of mind that would be great. It is about the size of a pager FYI and could be easily carried in your pocket too.Read full review

Very convenient, well-made golf GPS. It found the course I was playing on very quickly. It provides my with the information I need to estimate how I can best attack the green. Handy little gps unit.
Does what I bought it to do, readings to center of greens, front & back. Only problem is with lighting. Can't seem to find a good setting where it is either best with white background or black. I'll keep trying various options. Magnet is not that strong and I would not trust it on the cart upright for the roof. Will try to find a fix for that.Read full review
