Seamless Integration with Drop Bars
I've tried many mirrors in the past and the "on bike" models are all bulky or knock out of view. I've also utilized the 3rd Eye mirror that glues into my cycling glasses, which I like very much. The Italian Road Bike Mirror is top quality. I own 3 of these (one for each road bike) My only criticism, and I don't think this can be improved, is that it takes quite awhile to perfect the mounting position and angle. Don't wrap your bars until you ride your bike and it's perfect. I recommend securing the mirror to your bare bars with electrical tape that can be removed and adjusted. One of my bikes has a set of TTT anatomical carbon bars that have a slight dip down at the ends and I've found it very difficult to adjust the mirror properly and angle it up from the dip. Otherwise, you will not find a better "on bike" mirror.Read full review

Beautiful mirror
Much better than the plastic lens bar end mirror I had been using. And I found it quite easy to install. You do have to actually ride to get it in the right spot. Trying to duplicate riding position when stopped left it way off. But it only took a couple of tweaks to get it positioned well. Very clear image and excellent field of view. The best mirror option available
Bought the “blemished” discounted version. There is NOTHING wrong with this. My eyesight is 20/20 if not better and for the life of me I cannot see the supposed blemish. Even if there was a slice down the middle, when riding it will not interrupt your rear view. I’ve had other types of bar end mirrors that vibrate. I’ve tried helmet mirrors. This is the best and safest way to see what’s approaching bar none. Appearance wise it looks like it belongs as well, not some funky rig strapped on. Highly recommended. Read full review

Great unobtrusive mirror.
A bit pricey, but if you want a mirror that is unobtrusive and easy to use, this is for you. Placed at the end of the left side of the bar, it gives a convex view of the road behind. Once properly positioned, it never needs adjusting.Read full review

I wish I did this sooner.
I finally got past some of my speed racer habits and decided to add something that offers safety that far exceeds it's added weight. I took the plunge and ordered one for each of my road bikes based off the reviews that I've read. I wasn't sure if it would work for me because I don't wear my glasses when I ride. Worried that I wouldn't be able to make out the blur in the mirror. Just did my first ride, 51 miles and 4,200 ft climbed. At the very start of the ride I looked down at the mirror and thought I had forgotten to take my prescription glasses off. Pulling my eyewear off I realized I had my non prescription sunglasses on. The image was so clear that it had me believing otherwise. I was able to see approaching cars long before I could hear them. I was also a little concerned that I would make contact with it while out of the saddle climbing or sprinting. During my three hour ride that didn't happen even once! This mirror is well worth the two ounces it adds to my bikes. Such a small price to pay for some additional piece of mind. Both my mirrors were discounted blemished units and I couldn't see any flaws of any kind. Thanks to all of the prior buyer's who posted their reviews of this outstanding product. Optics of these mirrors are the best I've seen...and I work in a bike store!
This is my second purchase. I have used this bar end mirror for a couple of seasons. It does take some work to get installed correctly. The required anble and the taping of the handlebar may take a couple of iterations, but once propertly setup. these are THE ONES to have. My touring has bar end so these are not an option. Hence I use others, but the real glass mirror these have, make viewing objects behind you much better. Riding on road, I cannot stress enough that having a mirror allows riding to be a much safer experience. Use mirrors, people. Read full review

Expensive but the best out there.
Expensive for a mirror but these are the best I've found. I've been riding with one of these for 4 years and loved it. Placement is fairly easy and gives me the perfect look behind me. Unfortunately, you have to re-tape your handle bars to install it.It broke when I took a fall this winter (vertigo from cancer treatment) so I bought 2 more. I am extremely pleased with these. Once installed, they are solid and provide great visibility of approaching cars. I had neck surgery years ago, which has limited my ability to turn back to look for cars. With the Italian mirrors installed, I have gained confidence when riding.
