Filter needs altering

Better filter and system set up once I changed it.
No room for media and Too compact with too much carbon so water wasnt flowing through to filter the water like it should, and no room for decent proper filter sponge
So took 30mins to alter.
Easily opened up at top, removed everything, cut small circular sponges to fit in nicely not jamed in from my spare filter sponges i had , used these in order without squishing them in, black coarse sponge goes in first, blue medium sponge , and then green fine filter sponge, then took some of the original white fine floss sponge that came with it and wraped some of the carbon up in it, then placed that last making sure it wasnt packed too much so the water can flow through.
Works better now, clean water and better filteration system, also added some cycled clay stone media in a small mesh zipped aquarium safe bag and placed that underneath the base of it all , under the gravel area so helps hold more beneficial Bacteria which is a must.

Filter replacement

These are excellent and found they last at least three goldfish bowl changes before needing replacing so I'd recommend these if you have the interpet filter system
