8 Quart Instant Pot Duo Crisp.

I am happy with the results of the two meals I've tried. It a learning process. There are numerous recipes I want to try. I dud find I want to have just a little liquid left in pot after pressure cooking when I use the air fryer lid. First time I had too much. Second time none. It dried it out too much when wanting to crisp it. The liquid i poured off I put in a pan on the stove and thickened with corn starch made a wonderful gravy. I put a cup of water in after done and pressure cooked for 2 minutes. It cleaned the browned residue off the sides if the pan. I added it to the dab of gravy i had left, added a little more seasoning and corn starch and had gravy for the left overs. An experiment that worked. I haven't tried just using the air fryer yet. Instant Pot Duo Crisp has changed the way I cook ~ and freed up a great deal of space in my kitchen!!

The Instant Pot replaced my air fryer, pressure cooker, crock pot and rice/vegetable steamer ~ more room in my kitchen! I rarely use my stove or oven any more. The IP works great and the accessories that came with it helped me to learn to use it for so many foods. I can saute onions, mushrooms and garlic then add pasta sauce (a little wine) and the spaghetti for just a few minutes to cook the spaghetti. I can slow cook soup or pressure cook it rapidly. Bake fish or chicken then crisp it with the air fryer lid. Getting the duo crisp was a great value. Purchasing an air fryer cover separately for an IP duo adds significant cost.
Once you learn to use this great kitchen appliance you will find you can make almost anything you cooked traditionally. Recipes for anything you want to make are available online!Read full review

Product works great , however it was missing a pretty large section of the black lip on the outer part of the pressure cooker, that I did not notice in the picture, doesn’t affect how it works but I will be careful on cleaning it . All in all I’m happy with it , will make sure I look very close & blow up pics in the future.Read full review

If you put water in the pot near the cooking temperature, it can't seem to lock onto it and I have waited over an hour without it switching to cook. So I learned to put cooler water in as it seems to need to ramp up to temp. Still takes a while while it fidgets to find the temp. Works pretty well once its underway. Due to no water circulation food is not quite as evenly cooked as with a circulating sous vide device. Recommend flipping the food over a couple of times during cycle. Read full review
