GOOD VALUE WAY OF DIGITISING THOSE OLD NEGS & SLIDES

This is a low-cost machine that does what it says on the packet. I found it very easy to set up and use. I found I had to work on the slide conversions a bit to get the colours to work better but ended up not too bad. The pictures look good on small screen - e.g. phone or iPad but don't expect lab quality resolution from a machine at this cost.Read full review

Good basic slide scanner

Used this to scan in 300 of my parents slides, created between 1961-1977, so I expected some quality issues due to the state of the dirty slides, but the scanner did a pretty good job. The only issue I began to notice was a tendency for a shadow to appear around the edges of the scanned image, presumably caused by the way the slide is lit by the source light. It didn't become over-bearing though and in the case of these old family snaps, almost gave them a romantic feel. I imagine someone wanting full-frame, pro-quality scanning might need to invest more on another scanner.
This scanner was easy to set up on my (Win10) PC and the multi-slide feeder worked well and helped speed up the scanning job. Although there are only limited image editing features (brightness and RGB colour contrast) the end results have been satisfactory.Read full review

Finally made my negatives digital.
